Years ago prefabricated sales representatives were fond of saying that a concrete skatepark cannot be built for under a $100,000 dollars. Since then things have changed for the better. Today you have more companies building concrete skateparks than companies that install wood, plastic and steel prefabricated skateparks. The companies who sold prefabricated ramps are either out of business or offer a concrete option.
Advocates and Parks Departments everywhere are facing shrinking budgets. Below are a collection of skateparks built across the nation for under $100,000. When it’s know we have included factors that helped them reduce their cost further.
The next time you are facing someone who is making critical skatepark decisions under the assumption that prefabricated ramps are less expensive than concrete, show them this gallery.
Please note that single-structure skate spots are not included in this gallery as they are universally less than $100,000. What you see here are all poured-in-place concrete skateparks; no pre-cast, no kick-plates, no kits, no prefab.

It would be great if anyone where to build a skatepark where i live
dude work on one your self go to your city council and propose an offer of a skate park and look up grants and make power points go in front of the city parks board.
I would like to add to the San Pedro Springs skate park in San Antonio. It is the first in this list. I want a bowl type addition.
Yeah. I do to, but this website does not fund skateparks.
You would need to contact San Antonio council district one, and discuss this idea with the councilman.
San Pedro Springs Park has received 2012 Bond Funding…
