A new park is being built about 30 minutes north of Atlanta in Cumming,Ga.It's a Wally Hollyday design and build. Lot of good talk on this one , everyone that's skated the finished bowls, really like it. The street area looks like it's going to be pretty good too.

Re: Cumming,Ga.
My brother and mom live in Cumming. Look like I have another reason to visit.

Yeah, he was cool about letting us skate. Too bad he left Saturday. I heard he went to Portland to work on a park.

Re: Cumming,Ga.
i read this post and went and checked it out, i live about 7 minutes away from this new park. i went and skated it with my brother, it is super smooth and a lot of fun! cant wait till it opens for real. there was a lot of dry dirt on and around the park and it made some parts unskateable but i tried most of it out. Going to be great

Take a broom next time. We cleaned it out a couple of weeks ago, did you get hassled? The park isn't suppose to open till January, but I heard a rumor they might open the skate park in September.
Best park in Georgia so far. The left hand kidney is killer, could have been better with pool coping, but the county said no way. Here's some older photos before it was finished.

i went down to the park and managed to sneak around the construction workers and whatnot and got me some pictures. i took them with my iphone which was at like 10% battery so i turn the screen brightness all the way down. i couldn't see what pictures i was taking.
as you can see it is pretty dirty now, got my brand new deck all brown and dirty.

That ditch is fun as hell, and can be skated both ways with speed.
