I have had to almost stop skating because I have a demanding job and and would need to skate at night, looks like there might be lights coming in SJ:
https://cpms.sanjoseca.gov/pub/PrjDetai ... 4&count=51
This page cites lighting and vehicular access for night skating at lake cunningham. Note the construction start date of 10/26/09 and something about use around 1/31/10.
SF mission park seems to have lights, I just saw by accident driving by, don't know when they turn off, park says it closes at 9:30.
Tony and Rick... hope you are still out there.

I was wondering about this..... I had seen something on their website about future "all nighters". As much as I like that park, there's no way I could skate it all night

Lights
Wowza!!!! and that was quick; is all I can say to that!
I had no idea they were able to afford this so soon, the nightparking had better be free.
A very cool development indeed, late night sessions are so welcome,
a killer buzz. I wonder how late they will stay on? I would speculate/suggest something like M-Thurs: Sundown till Midnight.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights till 2AM. But knowing the city of SJ, they're probably not gonna be that cool, so we'll be lucky to see something like till ten during the week and maybe midnight for weekends, considering they're providing proshop staff as well.
