Because skateparks are such a modern phenomenon there hasn't been a lot of field research on how they operate. Eventually that will change but until it does we have to rely largely on anecdotal evidence. Our contributors are life-long skateboarders with decades of individual experience so while our case studies may not be the empirical evidence that some people look for when making important decisions, we're sure you'll find some insight into skatepark theory that helps you.
